Investing in the next generation
ISCHEBECK TITAN donates £10,000 of laptops to Suffolk New College
In September 2026, we donated 20 laptops, worth £10,000, to Suffolk New College. The college will loan them to students who are unable to attend in person, helping them continue their education from home.
Suffolk New College is local to our Cambridge office, and we are one of around 200 industry partners supporting learners across its campuses in Ipswich, Otley, Halesworth and Leiston.
The laptops will support students on the college's Level 2 Step On programme, a pathway designed for learners who cannot attend college in person, whether for health or other reasons.
Seven have already been loaned to learners without access to a computer, with more to follow.
The donation complements the college's own fundraising. A charity auction held at Milsoms during an industry partner dinner raised a further £4,000, funding ten additional computers for home-based learners.

Supporting the communities we work in
Investing in the areas where we operate and work is an important part of our approach to ESG. Supporting local education, skills and opportunity helps build stronger communities and a more sustainable pipeline of talent for the engineering and construction sector. Our partnership with Suffolk New College is one way we put that commitment into practice. Giving these devices a second life will support learners, reduce electronic waste and ensure valuable technology continues to make a positive difference.
Why it matters to us
Neil Conroy, Business Development Manager at ISCHEBECK TITAN, said: "It's our pleasure to work with our local college. We need to work with them to help bring through the next generation of talent into engineering and construction."
"There are massive infrastructure projects happening in Suffolk and East Anglia that need more skilled people coming through. So, in addition to this donation, we have and will be offering masterclasses and mentorships to students. We are passionate about helping people in education progress into the workplace, so we have lots of other exciting plans lined up in the future that will give more advice and guidance to young people – as well as further donations."
Making a difference
Cherese Tiller, Curriculum Coordinator at Suffolk New College, said: "I'd like to say a big thank you to Neil and everyone at ISCHEBECK TITAN. This donation is more than just financial – it is beneficial on many levels, allowing young people who might be suffering from digital poverty the opportunity to access education from home. It is giving our students the chance to carry on with their educational journeys, and we are very grateful."
Looking ahead
This donation is one part of our wider commitment to Suffolk New College. Through masterclasses, mentoring and further support, we aim to help young people build the skills and confidence to move into careers in engineering and construction.
