Ischebeck TITAN systems delivering safety and efficiency on a complex inner-city project
Project Overview
A 25-storey development at Canary Wharf is progressing within a highly constrained inner-city environment, where careful coordination of logistics and safety is essential. Located directly alongside the Docklands Light Railway, the project presents additional challenges due to its restricted setting and proximity to live infrastructure.
To support the construction of the project, Ischebeck TITAN Safety Screens have been installed to provide full perimeter protection as the structure rises. A total of 48 screens, each measuring 14.4 metres, are being utilised across the project. The initial phase saw 8 screens installed at the ground floor level in June 2025, establishing a safe working environment from the outset. As the building progresses to its full height, the screens are climbing in sequence with the structure, maintaining consistent edge protection across all levels.
Alongside the screens, our TITAN Support and HV Decking systems are being used to facilitate the construction of over 75,000m² of floor slabs. At Level 6, the system’s versatility was further demonstrated through the formation of 2.5-metre-deep transfer beams using TITAN Support in combination with the TUS system.
This project features many of the challenges that the Screen Saver system was designed to overcome, particularly in dense urban environments where safety, efficiency, and precision are critical.
A high standard of workmanship and delivery from both Kilnbridge and Canary Wharf Contractors is evident throughout, in one of the UK’s most recognisable backdrops.
