Town Wharf, Newark
This contract, to stabilise an existing river wall, required the wall's features to be retained as much as possible for heritage conservation. The main contractor installed a piled cantilever retaining wall, tied into the rear face of the exisiting wall. The ground conditions on site were clay with sand lenses and sandstone boulders at depth. This made it ideal for the Ischebeck Titan micropile technique.
